BaliBoost and Cacao magic - 5 Ingredients that will boost your immune system

Updated: Sep 14, 2020

Bali Boost was created in Bali when I needed to boost my energy and overall health therefore it's name Bali Boost.

I wanted to create something that would give me and others a boost using purely natural ingredients, to support my body and feed my brain. so my quest began. First it had to have Maca root. I’ve read so much about it and the legend telling the story of the Aztek women building the pyramids in Peru and feeding on the Maca root to endure the hardship of the heavy rocks on their backs. Flaxseed added to increase my protein and omegas intake daily. The cacao first for the flavor and the rest of its benefits. The lucuma and its properties also allows the other to combine smoothly and hide the bitterness of the Maca and the guarana. The curcuma was added as the ‘cherry on the cake’ and once blended well with nut milk and natural sweetener it got me hooked. Sharing with others proved to have effects on my male friends as well, other than libido rise, great energy , stamina and strength. Some even said that they feel immune to common colds and their yearly routine checkup has shown great improvement. By the age of 44 my blood tests showed that my body age is 26 and my hormones levels were totally normal.

Ingredients

Maca: Also called Peruvian Ginseng is a legendary root that is unique to south America and told to be used in the Aztek times as a main staple especially by women. The story tells that the women who built the pyramids were consuming it to enhance their stamina, boost their immune system and balance their hormones. In our BaliBoost mix we use 4 roots of Maca to support male and female as one. Maca has been proven to increase libido both in man and woman. It has an abundance of minerals and flavonoids that improve overall positive well-being. Maca root powder is a popular supplement among bodybuilders and athletes. It has been claimed to help you gain muscle, increase strength, boost energy and improve exercise performance. Maca also improves brain function. In fact, it has traditionally been used by natives in Peru to improve children's performance in school as it enhances memory. Lastly, pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult with their doctor before taking maca.

Flaxseed Protein: Made from organic, non-GMO nutrient-rich flaxseeds. A pure vegetable protein that contains all of the amino acids, as well as a wide variety of other nutrients found naturally. Rich in beneficial omega fatty acids , Flaxseed is the perfect brain food. It's allergen friendly and is great for the sensitive stomachs as it is easily digested. They are one of the most nutrient-packed foods you can consume. They have 70 times more lignans (polyphenols/antioxidants) than other food sources, which supports the fight against free radicals in your body. The high fiber content of flax seeds can help lower cholesterol and may play an important role in improving heart health and especially helpful for those with high blood pressure.

Cacao ( raw alkalized ): Cacao beans have been linked to numerous health benefits, including reduced inflammation, better blood flow, lower blood pressure, improved cholesterol, and blood sugar levels. Cocoa is one of the richest sources of polyphenols. It’s especially abundant in flavones, which have potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. Flavanols can cross the blood-brain barrier and are involved in the biochemical pathways that produce neurons and important molecules for the function of your brain. In addition to cocoa’s positive impact on age-related mental degeneration, its effect on the brain may also improve mood and symptoms of depression by nature’s conversion of tryptophan to an organic mood stabilizer serotonin. It’s also thought that cocoa may be beneficial for people with asthma, as it contains anti-asthmatic compounds, such as theobromine and theophylline. Cocoa contains many compounds that have antibacterial, anti-enzymatic and immune-stimulating properties that may contribute also to oral health effects.

Lucuma: Nicknamed the “gold of the Incas,” lucuma has been used as a traditional remedy in South America for centuries . It is said offers several health benefits, such as regulating blood sugar levels, improving heart health, and providing a powerful dose of beneficial antioxidants. Rich in carotenoids and polyphenols it may offer protection against various conditions, including diabetes and heart disease.

Paullinia Cupana: Also known as guarana and have been used by Amazonian tribes for centuries for its therapeutic properties. It contains an impressive range of stimulants, such as a good source of caffeine, theophylline and theobromine. Guarana also boasts antioxidants, such as tannins, saponins and catechins therefore helps you maintain focus and mental energy. Research has shown that guarana may improve your ability to learn and remember. It also has been used for centuries as a natural stomach tonic to treat digestive problems like chronic diarrhea and constipation. Unlike coffee, the caffeine found in Guarana is much longer lasting energy than coffee, plus the stimulation is less jittery and clearer in character.

Curcuma: Curcuma may be the most effective nutritional supplement in existence. We chose to use curcumin in our BaliBoost although it is not an Amazonian plant, but the complementary treasure perfects the mix. Many high-quality studies show that it has major benefits for your body and brain. Curcumin is a bioactive substance that fights inflammation at the molecular level. Dramatically Increases the Antioxidant Capacity of the Body as Oxidative damage is believed to be one of the mechanisms behind aging and many diseases. Curcumin boosts levels of the brain hormone BDNF, which increases the growth of new neurons and fights various degenerative processes in your brain. Curcumin can cross the blood-brain barrier and has been shown to lead to various improvements in the pathological process of Alzheimer’s disease. It’s potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant and may also help improve symptoms of depression and arthritis.
